Abstract:
In this paper, a metamaterial based compact multiband microstrip antenna is proposed which can give high gain
and directivity. Metamaterials are periodic structures and have been intensively investigated due to the particular
features such as ultra-refraction phenomenon and negative permittivity and/or permeability. A metamaterialbased
microstrip patch antenna with enhanced characteristics and multi band operation will be investigated in
this work. The multiple frequency operation will be achieved by varying the capacitance of the metamaterial
structure with the help of metallic loadings placed in each metamaterial unit cells. The potential impacts will be
miniaturization, reduced cost and reduced power consumption since multiple antennas..........

Abstract:
The liquefaction is a phenomenon which occurs under seismic solicitation. The passage of a seismic wave (i.e. strong shaking) leads, in certain geological formations, to the loss of shearing resistance in saturated sandy materials. This is caused mainly by the increase of the pore water pressure generated by the cyclical deformations. The instantaneous deconsolidation of the soil is reflected by the destruction of the soil mass; making the constructions on such soils unstable. In this geotechnical investigation a case study of foundation design on liquefiable site is described. The geotechnical investigation, carried out at Kent (Ontario), consisted of the construction of a new electrical station on a liquefiable site.

Abstract:
We will make a new approach for an effect known as "Dark Energy" by an effect on gravitational field.[1] In an accelerated rocket, the dimensions of space towards movement due to "Lorentz Contraction‟ are on continuous reduction.Using the equivalence principle, we presume that in the gravitational field, the same thing would happen. In this implicates in "dark energy effect‟. The calculi show that in a 7%-contraction for each billion years would explain our observation of galaxies in accelerated separation.

Abstract:
Some strong earthquakes are associated with increasing of volcanic activity in near and also in far field. This research is to investigate the effect of the tectonic earthquakes in Nusa Tenggara Island area towards the October 25th,2015 eruption of Mt. Rinjani, Indonesia. Three earthquakes occurred before the eruptions; Mw 5 Sumba earthquake on June 10th 2015, Mw 5.8 South of Java earthaquake July 26th, 2016 and Mw 5 South of Bali on August 6th, 2015. In theory, dynamical stress transfer can be calculated by analyzing synthetic seismogram as a waveform simulation at the volcano and the change of dynamical stress can be calculated with the finite-difference numerical method. Our result indicates that the dynamic stress value is still below the threshold value that can trigger eruptions........

Abstract:
Customer clustering has become a priority for enterprises because of the importance of customer relationship management. Customer clustering can improve understanding of the composition and characteristics of customers, thereby enabling the creation of appropriate marketing strategies for each customer group. Previously, different customer clustering approaches have been proposed according to data type, namely customer profile data, customer value data, customer transaction data, and customer purchasing sequence data. This paper considers the customer clustering problem in the context of customer purchasing sequence data. However, two major aspects distinguish this paper from past research: (1) in our model, a customer sequence contains itemsets, which is a more realistic configuration than previous models........

Thermodynamic assessment of Fe-B system, including phase diagram, Gibbs energy, enthalpy, heat capacity and activity, was performed in the ThermoCalc software ver. 4.1 (Sweden). Two databases were used: the commercial SSOL5 database for solid solutions (substitutional approach) and the USER made database based on work of T. Van Rompaey et al. (intersticial approach). Results obtained were compared with experimental data gathered from work of M. Van Ende et al. In low boron regime the curve of the Fe-B phase diagram is represented more reliable in the USER database. However, temperatures of the phase transformations are calculated with more accuracy in the SSOL5 database........

Abstract:
In this paper, Decimal Matrix Code is developed for RFID passive tag. The proposed DMC uses the decimal algorithm to obtain the maximum error detection and correction capability. The Encoder-Reuse Technique is used to minimize the area overhead of extra circuits without disturbing the complete encoding and decoding processes. ERT uses DMC encoder itself to be part of the decoder. The Simulation results reveals that the Decimal Matrix Code is effective than existing Matrix and Hamming odes in terms of Error Correction Capability. Xilinx ISE 14.7 Software is used for the simulation outputs. The complete design is verified and tested on Spartan-6 FPGA board. The performance of system is measured in terms of power, area and delay. The Synthesis result shows that, the power required for complete design of Decimal Matrix Code is 0.1mW with a delay of 3.109ns.

The impact of beginning metal particle fixation and adsorbent measurements on the adsorption of Zinc (zn) by waste water was researched. The leftover zinc ions was then broke down utilizing Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) (240AA). The adsorption harmony was accomplished when zinc arrangement was 800mg/L. The rate of metal evacuation is of most prominent criticalness for building up a characteristic adsorbent-based water-treatment innovation. The greatest evacuation rate is to be 95.37%. The harmony was accomplished essentially at pH of 7 at 120 minutes and 250 rpm evacuation effectiveness of zinc at steady beginning........

Abstract:
Advanced microcontroller bus architecture (AMBA) is a well established open specification for the proper
management of functional blocks comprising system-on-chips (SOCs). A Memory Controller is designed to
cater to this problem. This design presents an intellectual property (IP) for inter-Advanced peripheral bus (APB)
protocol. The Memory Controller is a digital circuit which manages the flow of data going to and from the main
memory. It can be a separate chip or can be integrated into the system chipset. This paper revolves around
building an Advanced Microcontroller Bus Architecture (AMBA) compliant Memory Controller as an
Advanced High-performance Bus (AHB) slave. The work involved is of APB Protocol and its slave
Verification. The whole design is captured using VHDL, simulated with ModelSim and configured to a FPGA

Abstract:
The paper suggests a staffing tool to improve efficiency at a nursing department of a local hospital. The managers consider they are understaffed and try to overwhelm the staffing deficit problem through overtime, rather than hiring additional nurses. The estimates indicate that the shortage at the hospital level corresponds to 300 full time equivalent (FTE) nurses. However, the huge amount of allocated budget for overtime becomes a concern since the deficit is not accurately estimated. Indeed, the suggested staffing tool shows that some nursing units are unnecessarily overstaffed. Moreover, the current study reveals that the real deficit is of only215 FTEresulting in a potential saving of 28%.

Abstract:
Digital fountain codes are a new class of random error correcting codes designed for efficient and reliable data delivery over erasure channels such as internet. These codes were developed to provide robustness against erasures in a way that resembles a fountain of water. A digital fountain is rateless in a way that sender can send limitless number of encoded packets. The receiver doesn't care which packets are received or lost as long as the receiver gets enough packets to recover original data. In this paper, the design of the fountain codes is explored with its implementation of the encoding and decoding algorithm so that the performance in terms of encoding/decoding symbols, reception overhead, data length, and failure probability is studied.

Abstract:
Manipulator is a machine which is used to transfer heavy objects, to reduce human efforts in many industrial applications. Some of them are fully automated while some are manually operated. It is difficult to work in cabin of manipulator for the operator under hot conditions. So it is essential to provide comfort to operator using air-conditioning system. For such applications standard air conditioners are not compatible, so we have to develop assembled system. In this paper we will be dealing with design, selection and fabrication of components like compressor, condenser, expansion device and evaporator. In order to do so, we have calculated heat load.
