  • Abstract:

Let G = (V, E) be a graph with p vertices and q edges. A graph G is said to admit Pyramidal Sum labeling if its vertices can be labeled by nonnegative integers 0,1,2…𝑝𝑞 such that the induced edge labels obtained by the Sum of the labels of the end vertices are the first q pyramidal numbers where 𝑝𝑞 is the qth pyramidal number. A graph G which admits a Pyramidal Sum labeling is called a Pyramidal Sum graph. In this Paper we prove that the one vertex union of t copies of any Path, the graphs got by attaching the roots of different Stars to one vertex, Comb graph Pn⨀K and all Lobsters are Pyramidal Sum Graphs and show that some graphs are Unpyramidal. By a graph we mean a finite, undirected graph without multiple edges or loops. For graph theoretic terminology, we refer to Harary [4] and Bondy and Murty [2]. For number theoretic terminology, we refer to M. Apostal [1] and Niven and Herbert S. Zuckerman [5]..

  • Abstract:

Petroderivatives from petrol stations constantly contaminate the urban environment and are responsible for significant negative impacts on it. Fungi are one of the main groups responsible for the degradation process of these compounds in soils. The aim of this work was to isolate and identify filamentous fungi from three petrol stations in the Metropolitan Region of João Pessoa, a municipality in Northeast Brazil. The microorganisms, isolated from the soil and diesel oil samples, stored in the tanks, were identified by coverslip technique using Sabouraud-Dextrose Agar. Eight fungal isolates were obtained from three different genera of the Ascomycota: Paecilomyces (strains TP01 and TP08), Penicillium (strains TP02 and TP07) and Aspergillus (strains TP04, TP05, TP06 and TP13). A Simple test of hydrocarbonoclastic activity indicated that the strains recovered from soil and fuel samples were recognized for their potential as bioremediation agents, so that they can be used in further tests aimed the removal of petroleum hydrocarbons, particularly in soil..

  • Abstract:

we know that the strength of any cipher depends on the degree of confusion and diffusion induced in it. Since most of the transformations used for this purpose are well known to every one, it gives scope for cryptanalysis. This is mainly because of the block sizes remaining constant in all the rounds; which will introduce linearity in the cipher. This helps the crypt analyzer in breaking the cipher. Therefore, we have investigated on a new technique and found that, during encryption the block cipher sizes can be varied in different rounds depending on round key. Such that, a crypt analyzer cannot analyze the transformations used due to variable block sizes being unknown in different rounds. The cryptanalysis carried out in this regard shows that the cipher obtained through this process is a strong one and cannot be broken by any crypt analytic attack.

  • Abstract:

The addition of standard intermediate aggregate (IA) content may provide desired intermediate-sized aggregate particle (ISA) content that can enhance the aggregate gradation and predictability of the aggregate packing (k) and Portland cement concrete consistency. This study evaluates the effect of the ISA on the average variation between traditional dry-rodded and vibrated aggregate packing (Δk) results. Gradation factors were determined and plotted on the Modified Coarseness Factor Chart (MCFC) seeking to identify Δk-ISA content correlations and to investigate a relationship between ISA and concrete consistency. The aftermath of 96 tests were grouped in three intervals determined by gradation curve resemblance. The results indicated that when ISA was between 25 and 27 % (by weight), Δk reached its lowest level: 1.7 %. Also, the optimized gradation (B6) displayed ISA = 26 % and fell right at the center of the MCFC's Workability Box (WB). Lastly, aggregate blends with 10 < IA < 11 % (by weight)....... .

  • Abstract:

In this paper, a robust flywheel energy storage system (FESS) controller using quantitative feedback theory (QFT) is designed to damp low frequency oscillations in spite of uncertainties and various disturbance of power system. To design the QFT FESS controller, the target performance specifications of the closed loop system and system uncertainties are converted to QFT bounds. Through the iterative loop shaping procedure, the FESS controller is designed to satisfy all QFT bounds at all frequencies. To verify control performance of the QFT FESS controller, nonlinear dynamic simulations are performed under various disturbance. The control characteristics with QFT FESS controller have been compared with that of the conventional power system stabilizer (PSS). The simulation results show that the QFT FESS controller provided better dynamic responses in comparison with the conventional PSS controller.

  • Abstract:

This study aimed to map crop pattern using object-based classification technique within a Mediterranean agricultural land in Turkey. Many Mediterranean land covers show similar spectral characteristics that make it difficult to identify in feature space by simple per-pixel classifiers. Therefore, an object-based classification is a potential solution for the classification of land cover in such environments., Appropriate segmentation parameters play a vital role for accurate mapping in object-based image classification. The optimum segmentation parameters were determined by testing on complex agricultural parcels. Each agricultural parcel was assigned a crop type using object-based classification techniques. Two different periods, classified as winter and summer, were classified with high accuracy in the study area. For the crop mapping, March and April are the best imaging times for winter, and between May and August are the best imaging times for summer crop season. Overall accuracy of the classification results, were derived through kappa statistics of 0.85 for winter and summer crop mapping.

  • Abstract:

Voltage Stability analysis of voltage instability in electric power system is very crucial in order to maintain the equilibrium of the system.Voltage security is the ability of the system to maintain adequate and controllable voltage levels at all system load buses. The main concern is that voltage levels outside of a specifiedrange can affect the operation of the customer's loads. This paper presents the analysis of voltage instability of electric power system by using power-voltage (PV) curve and reactive power-voltage (QV) curve. Introduction:-Voltagestability is an important aspect of any power system design as it assures the system has sufficient power to meet the load demand. Power system voltage instability is related to the lack of reactive power resources in the network and the voltage can collapse when the power limit of a system is exceeded. Voltage stability in the power system is defined as the ability of a power system to maintain acceptable voltages at all bus in the system under normal condition and after being subjected to a disturbance. In the normal operating condition the voltage of a power system is stable, but when the fault or disturbance occurs in the system, the voltage becomes unstable this result in a progressive and uncontrollable decline in voltage. Voltage stability is sometimes also called load stability.

  • Abstract:

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a promising technology that has a wide range of potential applications. Such network consists of large number of distributed nodes that organized themselves into multihop WSN. Each node collects information as required and sends it to base stations. There is a major problem of energy consumption in WSN. As sensor nodes are located in remote areas without any personal assistance. In this paper, the proposed work is to analyze the energy consumption and its effect on data transmission using Sensor Medium Access Control (S-MAC) protocol. S-MAC protocol is used in WSN to reduce energy consumed by sensor nodes. Proposed work is to analyze energy consumption with different duty cycles in S-MAC protocol and its effect on throughput of network. The duty cycle is decided at which energy consumption is less compared to others and how much this is efficient to others. Similarly throughput and end to end delay is found at different duty cycles. Again duty cycle is found at which both the attributes are efficient.

The hydrodynamics of violent course through lowered adaptable vegetation is researched in a flume utilizing acoustic Doppler velocimetery (ADV) estimations. The stream attributes, for example, the energetics and force move got from regular otherworldly and quadrant examinations are considered as the stream experiences a limited vegetation fix. Steady with various shade stream tests, a shear layer and intelligible vortex structures close to the overhang top arise brought about by Kelvin–Helmholtz hazards after the stream equilibrates with the vegetated layer.........

  • Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to summarize the review of literature on structural behaviour of modified hollow coreprecast concrete slab. Hollow core slabs (HCS) are used for modular building constructions which helps toreduce the volume of concrete. The voids provided parallel to the length of slabs may leads to early failure.Composite reinforcement methods and other strengthening techniqueswith GFRP strips, steel plates, CFRPlaminates etc. are developed to strengthen the voids of HCS. Experimental and numerical analysis are carriedout to study the effect of various strengthening techniques on HCS. The studies shows that the strengtheningtechniques helps to stabilize the voids and increase the load carrying capacity of hollow core slabs than solidslabs.

  • Abstract:

The field of quantum computing is still developing. Within the next ten years, the clock frequency of today's computer processor systems could reach roughly 40 GHz. By that time, one atom might be equal to one bit. By that point, a new model of the computer might be required because classical physics can no longer adequately represent electrons in such circumstances. One idea that might be useful in solving the difficulties at hand is the quantum computer........

  • Abstract:

The challenge of location management in mobile cellular networks is significant and extremely critical. Mobility management, often known as location management, is the appropriate management of effectively locating a mobile device in a mobile computing environment. This management procedure was carried out via the location update and location inquiry, or paging, two ways. The mobile network uses a location query approach, and the mobile device uses a location update technique.Location inquiry and position update function together when a call is received from a user to determine the.......
