  • Recent Segmentation Techniques in Iris Recognition

  • Abstract:

    DC motors are widely used in many applications including household applications, automotive and industry work house. These are considered as adjustable speed machines. DC motor is fed by a DC-DC converter. In order to avoid the use of transformer, a step-up high gain DC-DC converter is introduced here by combining the switched capacitor and regenerative boost configuration. Thereby it drastically increases the dc voltage gain and enhances efficiency. Neuro Fuzzy Inference System technique is adopted for controlling the speed of the DC motor which is a fusion of artificial neural network and fuzzy logic principle, and is based on Tagaki-Sugeno fuzzy inference system. With the help of controller the System performance has improved and has better performance in both transient and steady state response. The performance study is carried out with MATLAB/SIMULINK R2017a..

  • Abstract:

    PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express), is a point-to-point connection and a serial computer expansion, high-speed, I/O bus standard. The devices integrated on a motherboard such as, graphic cards, Solid-State Devices, Ethernet, and network cards are generally linked to the chipset of the main PCB of the computer using allotted PCI Express connections. Multiple devices communicate with each other simultaneously using this PCIe link. PCIe standards differ greatly from the older standards, including bandwidth, slot size, compatibility with existing operating systems, speed, better performance scaling for bus devices. Hence, PCIe 3.0 soft IP is developed as per ASIC and FPGA design methodology and this has been designed using the Verilog HDL, Incisive Enterprise Simulator and Questa simulator for simulation, Genus Synthesis Solution and Precision RTL for Synthesis, Conformal Equivalence Checker and FormalPro for Equivalence Check are used for ASIC and FPGA design respectively. A clock frequency of 100 MHz and the Library of 65nm standard cell libraries for synthesis are used in this project..

    Recently, Wireless sensor network is gaining immense popularity in agricultural field. This paper surveys various applications of wireless sensor network in smart farming. Precision farming specifically aims towards the development of agriculture by concentrating on the issues like irrigation management, soil moisture measurement, pest detection and overall crop production. It also focus on farm yield improvement. This can be achieved with the help of Wireless sensor network systems. In this sensors are deployed above or beneath the soil, data is collected from the nodes.   • Abstract:

    Alzheimer's Disease is a serious neurological brain condition. It damages brain cells leading patients to lose their memory, mental functioning and capacity to conduct everyday tasks. Alzheimer's disease is incurable, although early identification can significantly reduce symptoms. Machine learning algorithms can greatly increase the accuracy of Alzheimer's disease diagnosis. Deep learning approaches have recently seen a lot of success in medical picture analysis. However, there has been relatively limited research into using deep learning algorithms to identify and classify Alzheimer's disease. In this study, we described the detailed study which have already been done on detection/classification of Alzheimer's disease. We also highlighted methodology and results of five studies which have produced significant improved results compared traditional methods.

    Mental health illness disease are characterized by high stress, long hours, work pressure, making name for self and work imbalance between personal and professional life. The proposed work is to find the frequency of mental health illness of technical people compared to non technical people at the workplace. The dataset called mental health in tech survey that collected data from various people worldwide is chosen for this research. The dataset comprises of 27 features where the target class variable is tech company selected for the model building. The data preprocessing technique called missing values implemented to the dataset to get the cleaned data and all the feature values are filled. The classification algorithms of machine learning is applied to obtain the accuracy of mental health illness using best.

    The management of municipal solid waste is an alarming problem. An ever-increasing population and rapid pace of urbanization, the country is facing a huge challenge of waste management. Solid waste biomass to high-density briquettes is a potential solution to solid waste problems as well as to a high dependence on fuel wood in developing countries like India. Present study deals with the attempt of potential of converting garden waste and vegetable waste to briquettes using waste paper as a binder. Briquettes were produced with a manual briquette press after the processing base wastes. The waste and binder composition ratio tested at 90:10; 85:15; 80:20 and 75:25. The moisture content, densities and cooking efficiency of the briquettes were determined. It was concluded that garden waste could be best to convert into good-quality briquettes..

    This paper provides a detailed study on how to develop the Arduino UNO based smartphone-based liquid level monitoring system. In recent years, the ATMEL company has been able to develop Arduino by creating Arduino UNO. In our project, we use the Arduino UNO R3 to measure the liquid level and monitor it using the smartphone based on the Bluetooth module and we can read the output level on the I2C LCD screen. It can measure any type of liquid as we use an ultrasonic sensor instead of the float sensor. we designed a wireless water level monitoring system based on Arduino. It consists of an Arduino, an ultrasonic sensor, and a Bluetooth module. The Arduino receives the level information from the sensors and tracks the liquid level with predefined level indicators. The Bluetooth module receives the command from Arduino and the command will be transferred to the registered mobile phone via Bluetooth. In addition, we put a buzzer as an additional indicator..

    The main aim of Floating point Arithmetic logic unit (ALU) is presented that in stepwise design, all arithmetic operations like Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division are combined to form a Floating point ALU unit.These operations are executed on 32-bit floating point numbers. Each operation is executes individual to each other.This unit uses the IEEE-754 single precision format.This paper presents the Design of 32-Bit floating point Arithmetic logic unit.     This study evaluated the relationship between of Project Management Ethics and Project Success of Total Quality Engineering Service Limited in Nigeria". Survey research design was adopted for the study, using a close-ended questionnaire for the data collection. Accidental and purposive sampling techniques were used for the selection of the sample size from the finite population,56 questionnaires were distributed while 47 were returned. The data was analyzed using mean and standard deviation to reveal the relationship between the variables used in the research question. From the findings of this study, it was revealed that project management ethics was one of the major determinants of project success.     For any metallic components casting is a primary manufacturing process. And this casting is a combination of various processes that include sand molding, sand core making, assembly of mold and core, melting the raw materials in the furnace pouring the molten metal in the patterns, shake out, inspection and final dispatch. Sometimes the casting process is also difficult to define because even in the proper calculated and controlled casting process the defects are going to appear which is very difficult to obtain sound casting. This study is aimed to solve the blow hole defect which occurs in the casting, and to reduce rejection rates. Blowhole is nothing but the smooth walled cavities of various dimensions created by gas and not allowed to escape out during casting process.

The concept of Green Human Resources Management (Green HRM) refers to the activities and policies of Human Resource Management in implementing sustainable environmentally friendly practices. Furthermore, better environmental performance is required to scale back pollution and waste generated by companies and employees. This study seeks to find the factors that influence the success of Green HRM in Information Technology companies, including personality, individual knowledge, organizational culture, digital transformation, and education and training.     Energy can be utilized in many applications in day to day life. According to traction it has major significance and complexity. Due to electrical energy consumption in railways is increasing, subscription of high amount of energy is going to vital burden for economy. To decrease electrical burden railway tends to use the Renewable Energy Sources. Hybridizing the railway substations with RES in storage elements directly connect to DC bus. Multi Agent System (MAS) has been proposed to provide energy control and management in the grid, because of their benefits of expandability, autonomy and reduced maintenance. MAS consists the smart grid and agents to adequate the energy consumption in running Locomotives. Integration of RES using MAS is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink environment.

    This work aimed at enriching a research theme, focused on exploiting the performance in a Human-Computer Integrated Manufacturing (HCIM) sys-tem using Automatic Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) interface. A salient contribution of this research effort focused on adopting the concept of a load cell for the system of human-performance measurement. The developed novel system is capable of measuring cognitive and motor action responses simultaneously. The performance measurement system designed for this work may be replicated in other fields where systems are operated through control panels and where the responses of mentally retarded human beings (or the human beings with the symptoms of Alzheimer disease) are to be observed and evaluated. The research methodology designed in this work can be directly applied to the practical field to evaluate the performance of various human-panel operated system interface. The present work can be quite useful for the system designers of tomorrow.
