  • Abstract:

The soft set theory offers a general mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainty, fuzziness and vagueness. The concept of soft sets which can be seen as a new mathematical approach to vagueness is used in many applications including decision making and medical diagnosis problems. Later, it is generalized to soft fuzzy set. In this paper we present the definition and operations of soft intuitionistic fuzzy set. Furthermore, based on the analysis of several operations on soft intuitionistic fuzzy set in the study, we provide some new notions such as the restricted intersection, the restricted union and the restricted difference of two soft intuitionistic fuzzy sets. We also improve the notion of complement of a soft intuitionistic fuzzy set and prove certain De Morgan's laws hold in soft intuitionistic fuzzy set with respect to the new definitions..

  • Abstract:

Environmental conditions affect concrete in different ways, which threatens the durability of this concrete. Among the environmental parameters that affect the durability of concrete is the change in outdoor temperature, between day and night, summer and winter. This paper reflects the experimental work carried in order to better understand the effect of temperature variations on some durability aspects of an ordinary concrete frequently used in Morocco for big infrastructure construction sites. To do this, samples of concrete were made, in order to conduct in the laboratory a series of tests, which allowed us to determine the values of some durability parameters such as mechanical strength to compression, porosity to water, gas permeability, electrical resistance, chloride ion diffusion coefficient....

  • Abstract:

Curriola fruit (Pouteria ramiflora) is a fruit of the Brazilian Cerrado (a type of savannah) that is recognized for its pronounced and remarkable aroma. In this work, the effect of ripening on the volatile profile of curriola fruit was evaluated using solid phase micro extraction (SPME) combined with gas chromatography and massspectrometry (CG-MS). Ester was the major class of compounds identified in the volatile profile of curriola fruit. Followed alcohols and sesquirterpenes. The major volatile compounds identified in curriola fruit were ethyl butanoate, ethyl hexanoate, ethyl octanoate, ethanol, ethyl-(Z)-3-hexenoate, β-curcumene, -curcumene,α- bergamotene (cis), α-curcumene, and (E)-2-hexenal. The largest changes observed in volatile constituents during ripening of curriola fruit were decreases in alcohols, aldehydes, and sesquiterpenes as well as an increase in esters.

In this paper we are discussing the classification technique of separation of ham and spam. The problem at hand is to classify and email as spam or non spam given features of the email message and we have seen a second what kind of features can be used to qualify and email which would make it distinctive for a class spam classifier. So, the probability of spam given features of a message is what we have to estimate, and this is actually the posterior probability of the class spam. By base rule as the likelihood of the features of the email message given then it was a spam message times the prior probability of spams divided by the features of the message

  • Abstract:

Increased interest in biometric security systems makes face recognition a very effective research area. Now, we will take a look on basics of a face recognition system. In an image a face region is present where only facial features are present. In another terms it means we have to localize or concentrate only on the face region that means we are contemplating those parts of an image where a face may present. This research provides an up-to date survey of various existing recognition techniques but also represent precise descriptions of some methods. In addition to this other topics like issues of illumination and pose variation are also discussed in their work. The purpose of this short review paper is to present, categorize and evaluate some new face detection techniques using four conventional learning machine. The performance and the other evaluation parameters of these methods compare with each other in order to introduce significant techniques and also to state advantages and disadvantages of related works

Experiments performed by various workers have confirmed that clouds in air of very fine dusts of sulphur, some metals, and some synthetic organic materials, have very low minimum electric-spark ignition energies (MIEs), in the range 1 mJ. However, the test methods recommended by some current national and international standards for measurement of min. ½CU2for ignitionof explosible dust clouds have a lower spark energy limit of 1 mJ or more. This is mainly due to the lower spark energy limits of the methods used for synchronizing the spark discharge with the appearance of the transient experimental dust cloud at the spark gap………

Wound is an inescapable event in life. Wound management is ongoing treatment of a wound by providing appropriate environment for healing. This environment is provided through a wound healing bandage that helps accelerate healing of wound. A variety of wound types has resulted in a wide range of wound dressings with new products frequently introduced. Humans have frequently used plants and natural elements to treat common infectious diseases. Some of these traditional medicines are still part of the habitual treatment as they not only serve merely as a treatment, it is a way of life which has no side effects, gives disease free long life, relaxes mind, makes you tension free while keeping good health status. Research on wound healing drugs/agents from natural resources is a developing area in modern biomedical sciences.Herbal, natural products symbolize safety in contrast to the synthetic products that are regarded as unsafe to both humans and environment. Herbal products have fewer side effects as compared to synthetic, so they are widely used for medicinal purpose. The study is designed to develop a nature based wound healing bandage that helps accelerate wound healing process and has a soothing effect on skin..

The measurements of resistive forces of the biceps and triceps articulation were determined, and we obtained its linear stiffness coefficient in the model by means of linearization of the governing function using Taylor's series. To formulate physical problems, mathematical description is of extreme importance. There are exact solutions to many linear problems, but few for non-linear problems. Thus, deepening through mathematical artifices, such as expansions, are of fundamental importance in engineering, treated in specific components. The mathematical modeling of mechanical……

In the past few decades, the integration of Renewable Energy Systems in the distribution side of a main grid has increased to a substantial level. But it necessitated the introduction of Energy storage systems simultaneously. In view of this, SMES is the novel approach that stores excess electricity from the grid within the magnetic field of a superconducting coil with near-zero loss of energy. This technology has proven to be matured as it improves the power quality in addition to damping the swings on grid network. It also does the function of load leveling & it is environment friendly too.

With the aim of investigating a laser-welded dissimilar joint of TWIP and TRIP steel sheets, the microstructure was characterized by means of OM, SEM, and EBSD to differentiate the fusion zone, heat-affected zone, and the base material. OIM was used to differentiate between ferritic, bainitic, and martensitic structures. Compositions were measured by means of optical emission spectrometry and EDX to evaluate the effect of manganese segregation. Microhardness measurements and tensile tests were performed to evaluate the mechanical properties of the joint. Residual stresses and XRD phase quantification were used to characterize the weld. Grain coarsening and martensitic areas were found in the fusion zone, and they had significant effects on the mechanical properties of the weld. The heat-affected zone of the TRIP steel and the corresponding base material showed considerable differences in the microstructure andProperties..

  • Abstract:

This paper discusses the Sinusoidal Power Factor model, which is used in the electrical networks to get high efficiency and a low cost. There are several reasons that are very beneficial for improving the power factor. Some of these are economical and others are technical. For the technical reasons, power factor correction can help to reduce the voltage drop that is produced in underground cables or overhead lines at the transmission or distribution level. Also, it can reduce the load on electrical equipment which provides more capacity for equipment and can result in less copper loss. The economical side for power factor correction is represented by the reduction of the consumed power by compensating the reactive power and the decline of electric bills that are paid by customers. The excessive reactive power can be used in suppling inductive loads such air-condition and huge motors in factories.....

  • Abstract:

The optimal tracking problem of descriptor time-varying continuous-time systems is studied. First, under the assumption of impulse controllability, it is shown that the original system can be converted to a reduced-order normal linear time-varying system and an algebraic constraint by the pre-feedback technique and the restricted system equivalent (r.s.e) approach. Second, the state augmentation technique is applied to construct an augmented system, in which the state vector consists of tracking error, auxiliary input (appearing in pre-feedback), the state, and its derivative of the normal system. This procedure transforms the tracking control problem into an optimal regulation problem of the augmented system. Third, by utilizing the related results of preview control theory, a controller for the augmented system is presented through letting preview length tend to zero. Meanwhile, a controller to solve the original problem is also derived from the controller for the augmented system. Finally, two sorts of numerical simulation methods are proposed for the time-varying descriptor continuous-time systems, which have been demonstrated to be effective by various examples..
