  • Abstract:

In many situations, autonomous robots can provide effective solutions to gruelling tasks. In this case, it is desirable to create an autonomous robot that can identify objects and relocate them if the object meets certain criteria. Dealing with a large number of objects is a very menial task, this is an excellent application for a robot of this type. In this case, to keep costs and design complexity low i.e an Arduino microcontroller is choosen instead of raspberry pi as raspberry pi requires another device to interface microcontroller with the motor drivers which are costly and also we are using joystick app instead of keyboard which increases the flexibility to use. By using Arduino c++ programming language is used..

  • Abstract:

Metosartan causes decompaction of chromatin by reducing disulfide bonds in protamines of mature sperms leading to the cause of infertility. Protamines generally associates with chromatin as toroid subunits, so, further compaction in chromatin is provided by disulfide bonds with in the protamines of mature sperms metosartan is proved to reduce the disulfide bonds from results of Eswari beeram. Metosartan also reduces disulfide bond between RI and RNaseA and the RNase in testes is a monomer as that of RNase A proved by reducing SDS Page..

  • Abstract:

Anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the oxide layer on the surface of metal parts. Aluminium is also suited to anodizing, although other nonferrous metals, such as tantalum and titanium, can also be anodized. Titanium is used as a biocompatible material in human implants due to its excellent corrosion and wears resistance. Stable, highly adherent, and protective oxide films can be developed on titanium using various acid or alkaline baths. Anodizing of titanium generates a spectrum of different color without use of dyes. This spectrum of color dependent on the thickness of the oxide, interference of light reflecting off the oxide surface and reflecting off the underlying metal surface. The anodized film of Titanium is mainly consists of TiO2 or mixtures of TiO2 & Ti2O3 etc. The present study is focused on analysing the change of colour of anodized titanium and effects of electrolytic voltage on corrosion behaviour of titanium. It can be easily observed that the general public is putting in more and more loan requests in the banking system recently, which can be regarded as a positive development for the banks, while at the same time presenting a considerable risk. Accurate risk management in the banking and finance sector is related to efficient and optimized use of the current resources, assessment of possible risks and taking timely precautions. It is of utmost importance for the banks to predict the problematic loans in terms of long-term stability. Giving credits to the applicants is one of the fundamental activities of the banks, however; the same activity brings significant risks. As part of their founding purpose, the banks do not avoid taking risks, and they choose to manage them. The banks should perform their risk management in the way to keep the damages resulting from the amount of loans they give to a minimum. Considering.....

Screw conveyors are extensively used in a industry for transporting and materials along with distances. We are improving the capacity of screw conveyor by including the initial and actual design.(9TPH to 7.8TPH) They are very imperial transporting instrument for dry particulate solids, giving good output. design have tended to heavily on experiential performance data. In screw conveyor all over performance is dependent on the operating conditions the screw speed is in rotational, inclination of the screw conveyor; and the volumetric fill level of the bulk material. In that review paper we improve the capacity of screw conveyor by using computational fluid dynamics analysis (CFDA) also improve the tensional strength of screw shaft. We are reducing the overweight of conveyor from 52kg/set to 40-45 kg/set.The predictions of screw conveyor performance in terms of variations of particle speeds, energy dissipation, mass flow rate and power consumption, due to changes in the operating conditions. While the shape of the feed opening is not critical when dealing with free-flowing materials it has a very strong effect on performance when fibrous materials are being fed into the screw. The conveyor is powered by an electric motor by using a V belt connection.

Speckle is a noise component in Breast ultrasound images (BUS) that leads to false therapeutic decision making in cancer diagnosis. Hence need to be suppressed without degrading edge and texture information of the image. In this work, a statistical filter is designed by combining Average, Variance and Median of pixels in a specific kernel. The designed hybrid statistical filter (AoVM) with different kernel sizes varying from 3x3 to 11x11 is applied on images corrupted with speckle noises ranging from 0.01 to 0.3. Metrics like Mean Square Error, Peak Signal to Noise ratio and Speckle Suppression Index are used to evaluate the performance of the filter. The filter yields around 70% of Peak Signal Noise Ratio (PSNR) values for all kernel sizes. The results of Mean Square Error rate (MSE) and Speckle Suppression Index (SSI) also found to be better than the existing Gaussian, Lee and M3 Filter in suppressing the noises while preserving the edges...

  • Abstract:

Composite materials have been used extensively in the aeronautical and automotive industries. Despite the improved knowledge about the mechanical and dynamic behavior and modes of failure, it is still not well explained some variability from experimental data obtained for, a priory, and nominally identical specimens. Epistemic and aleatory uncertainties are alleged as the main causes for these discrepancies besides the uncertainties from modeling. Regarding the structural damping of such structures, the phenomena involved are not completely revealed nor modeled. This paper presents an interval-based algorithm for uncertainty quantification in composite structures. The α-cut procedures are used to account for the several levels of uncertainty present in material properties, geometrical imperfections and external loading. Due to the lack of reliable statistical information about such uncertainties, the interval-based approach is used in this study and compared with the robust solution by Monte Carlo simulations..

  • Abstract:

The bridges are essential for the development of cities. To maintain the appropriate safety standard for its functionality, routine inspections are necessary to check the parts that need maintenance. Currently, these inspections are carried out visually and through resistance and durability tests. Despite this, it is observed that some regions cannot be detected during the common visual inspection. Thus, this research aims to perform the inspection of a bridge using the technique of infrared thermography. The inspection was carried out in the morning, without rain and with parameters set so as not to interfere with the results of the analysis. Considering the refraction of the positive and negative heat observed in the inspections carried out in the morning, it was possible to point out the existence of humidity in the verified areas, which was confirmed through visual inspection. In the presence of cracks, it was possible to detect the existence of moisture inside them. Thus, it is possible to conclude that the use of infrared thermography is a very promising technique for the inspection of bridges..

  • Abstract:

Wireless networks allow users to send and receive information without having to rely on wires. Because of the lack of a tether, a device can freely move within a specific range, while retaining its network connection. Ranges can span from a few feet to a broader scope, such as an entire city. A wireless network enables access to the internet from nearly any location in the world. Wireless networks are communication systems that foster connections between computer devices. These gadgets include various.....

  • Abstract:

Cooling systems in Kuwait are mainly operated by vapor compression chillers. The needs of the electrical power of the cooling system in the state of Kuwait are investigated which shows an average of 50 % of the total annual power consumption account of these needs. Almost 75% of the total power consumption goes to airconditioning systems during the month of highest power demand by building sector. This high demand could be satisfied from a clean energy resource if solar cooling techniques were adopted especially in commercial buildings. Kuwait's annual solar radiation is predicted to be between 2100 and 2200 kW/m2, and the range from 7 to 12 is the average daily sunshine hours/year. According to 2015 Kuwait Energy Policy, Laws and Regulations, the solar PV is....

  • Abstract:

Cathode active materials are the main elements dictating the differences in the composition of battery cells. The cathode materials comprised of cobalt, nickel and manganese in the crystal structure forming a multi-metal oxide material to which lithium is added. Artificial neural network was proposed for the characterization of lithium ion cathode material to determine the existence of x-ray diffraction peaks at different degrees and layered structure of thesample. The model was classified for training, testing and validation. The data obtained from the synthesized cathode materials (LiNi0.5Mn0.5O2) were used as inputs and processed as x-ray diffraction patterns. The design and analysis was done with MATLAB/Simulink software. The results obtained gave 82.97% accuracy of x-ray diffraction pattern prediction for cathode materials..

  • Abstract:

3-Amino-2-thiophenecarboxamides (3a-e) were synthesized from 2-(4-oxo-3-phenylthiazolidin- 2-ylidene)malononitrile(1) and employed in the synthesis of a variety of thiophene derivatives. These 3-Amino-2-thiophenecarboxamides (3a-c) which when treated with aromatic aldehydes under relatively mild conditions produced the 3-arylideneamines (6a-d). Treatment of the carboxamide(3d) with triethylorthoformate gave the thiophene-3-ylformimidate (7). Reacting 3-aminothiophene-2-carboxamides (3b,c) with chloroacetyl chloride furnished 5-(2-chloro-N-phenylacetamido)-3-(2-chloroacetamido)-2- carboxamides (8a,b). The 3-amino-2-thiophene carboxamides (3a-e) on reacting with acetic anhydride yielded the thienooxazinone(11). Ethyl 4-cyano-3-[(ethoxymethylene)amino]-5-phenylaminothiophene-2-carboxylate (12) when treated with hydrazine, phenylhydrazine and hydroxylamine yielded some interesting unexpected thiophene derivatives (13), (14) and (15)..

  • Abstract:

In the past few years the world has witnessed a rapid growth of PEV (Plug-in electric vehicles) market, Meanwhile the statistics indicates that by 2035 a total tentative number of 120 million PEV will encompass the roads Globally[1], Thus Kuwait eventually will have a share of that market, statistically Kuwait has an annual increment in passengers vehicle of 90,000 car/year , Therefore it is expected that by the year 2035 the PEV in Kuwait will reach a number of 10,000 units , especially if we know that Kuwait's kWh tariff is less than 0.01$, Hence the local power grid will be incurred with additional 0.5 GWh/year as a recharging energy for the same number of PEV's, Moreover this electrical energy growth will be accompanied with a significant impact of grid impedance, therefore this paper is intended to discuss a method to enhance the grid's power factor by an ancillary 3-phase grid tied bi-directional inverter to charge a battery bank along with a PV solar system to compensate grid's reactive power.
