Abstract:
CBR is an important parameter in assessing the strength of flexible pavement layers. Estimation of CBR values
from laboratory methods are time consuming and laborious. In this aspect indirect methods play useful role in
supporting the quality of estimation of CBR values. In the present study red soil samples of coarse grained
nature are used in predicting compaction characteristics such as optimum moisture content and maximum dry
density. These models with R2 values are in the range of 0.51 to 0.58 have obtained using grain size
distribution, consistency as independent variable..

Abstract:
Red soils make the construction of foundations extremely difficult in its natural state. It
may cause high differential movements in structures through collapse settlement on saturation. This
phenomenon is primarily related to the open structure of red soils. Identifying these soils in the field
can reduce the risk of distress usually reported in buildings and roads. These soils can withstand
relatively high pressure without significant change in volume on drying, by wetting they are suspected
with sudden reduction in volume.
In this context an attempt was made on 6 red soils to relate the collapsibility behavior of the soils by
considering initial water content, dry density, saturation moisture content, liquid limit, void ratios as
parameters and compared with various exciting collapsibility theories..

Abstract:
Pipelining is a process of concurrent execution of instructions in sections overlapped for effective utilization of
resources. In this paper, high performance 64 bit, 6 stage MIPS RISC processor is designed to enhance the
speed and for better handling of the criticality of the pipelining process. The paper consists of several optimizing
devices and methods which not only concentrate on low power and high speed but also curtail the hazards in a
critical manner. In the comparison study, our proposed architecture has reduced power by 19% and enhanced
speed by 12%, when compared to our nearest counterpart. The simulation results are carried out with Xilinx
platform and proved the superiority of our model. The 3-D graphic representation employed through MATLAB
tool..

Abstract:
Abrasive Jet Machining (AJM) especially Abrasive Water Jet Machining (AWJM) is widely used in the
manufacturing sector. Every organization tries to sustain in the competitive business market by reducing the cost
of the production without reducing the quality of the product. From the literature it is identified that by
combining the manufacturing process and optimization technique, the process parameters can be controlled.
This paper gives an overview of previously carried research on process parameters of Abrasive Jet Machining
and Abrasive Water Jet Machining. Study reveals that following are the important process parameters effects on
the accuracy of machining process such as Nozzle design and Stand-off Distance (SOD), Effect of fluid and
flow properties, Effect of particle type, size, shape and hardness, Effect of velocity and jet angle, Effect of
Traverse Speed on Surface Profile and Geometry.

Abstract:
In this study the kinetics of oxidation of o- hydroxyacetophenone, p- hydroxyacetophenone & mhydroxyacetophenone,
p-methoxy acetophenone and p-bromo acetophenone by hexacyanoferrate (III) has been
studied in alkaline medium and has been analysed. The order of reaction with respect of both acetophenone and
hexacynoferrate (III) has been found to be unity. The rate of reaction increases with increase in the temperature.
Various activation parameters have been calculated. A negative entropy of activation due to solvation of
activated complex has been studied in each case..

Abstract:
In this paper a case study on effect of geopolymer treatment on an efflorescence affected brick masonry wall is
being studied. The wall is subjected to continuous dampness due to toilet on other side, due to which salts leach
out creating efflorescence and damage to painting and plaster. To rectify this various moles of sodium hydroxide
were coated on each part followed by sodium silicate coating. Geopolymer treatment was finished in
march2016. It is evident from the photos taken after2 years and 9 months in December 2018, that this type of
geopolymer treatment of efflorescence affected walls is very effective in maintaining appearance and integrity
of masonry wall..

Abstract:
In this study, an embedded system has been developed to provide remote control of dot matrix signboards
widely used nowadays. With this developed system, it is possible to control and use one or more signboards
anywhere. The developed electronic signboard can be in the desired dimensions by connecting the unit modules
in many different forms. Thanks to the electronic circuit realized for the dot matrix display. The electronic
circuit of the unit modules can be controlled with Raspberry pi and Tinker mini computers. In addition, three
different application software (desktop, mobile and web) have been developed to control the electronic
signboard by both desktop computer and mobile devices with Android or IOS operating systems. The system is
executed by realizing the prototype.

Abstract:
New nanomaterials based on sodium nitrate and different concentrations (0.5%, 1% and 1.5% wt.) of alumina
nanoparticles have been analyzed successfully via CFD. A numerical study on differences of thermo-physical
properties of Phase Change Material (PCM) due to dispersion of alumina nanoparticles on sodium nitrate was
produced. Transient numerical simulations with enthalpy porosity approach implemented in the commercial
CFD-Code ANSYS FLUENT were performed.
An increase of the conductivity of the nano-enhanced Phase Change Material was predicted to lower charging
and discharging cycles.
The specific heat was simulated..........

Abstract:
There are different TCP variations and each one place with the different criteria. In the mobile ad hoc networks,
the topology changes habitually due to mobile nodes, this leads to significant packet losses and network
throughput degradation. This is because of the fact that TCP neglects to recognize the path failure and network
congestion. In this paper we discuss about the congestion problem in Adhoc networks and compare the
performance of two TCP variants that both work on different techniques. We describe a variant of TCP (Reno,
NewReno), TCP is most widely used transport protocol in both wired and wireless networks. This paper
compares TCP variants specifically TCP Reno and NewReno based on the packet Delivery Radio

Abstract:
This paper presents a feasibility study of photovoltaic (PV), wind, biomass and battery storage
based hybrid renewable energy system (HRES) providing electricity to residential area in Australia. The
monthly daily mean global solar irradiance and wind speed data of the capitals of the seven regions of the six
states and various territories of Australia (Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria,
Western Australia and New South Wales) are generated by the RETScreen Clean Energy Project Analysis
Software produced by Natural Resources Canada. The long term continuous implementation of the system is
simulated. The software HOMER produced by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory is used as a
simulating tool. Their cost and emissions are compared with each other among the systems. It is found that an
off-grid PV-wind-biomass HRE system is an effective way of emissions reduction and it does not increase the
investment of the energy......
