Abstract:
In this paper, a new formulation for power system state estimation is proposed. The formulation is based on regularized least squares method which uses the principle of Thikonov's regularization to overcome the limitations of conventional state estimation methods. In this approach, the mathematical unfeasibility which results from the lack of measurements in case of ill-posed problems is eliminated. This paper also deals with comparison of conventional method of state estimation and proposed formulation.....

Abstract:
This paper compares the results of Seismic Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Shaft Support Water Storage Tank carried out in accordance with IS: 1893- 1984 and IS: 1893-2002 (Part-2) draft code. The analysis is carried out for shaft supported water tank of 500,750 and 1000 Cu.m capacity, located in four seismic zones (Zone-II, Zone -III, Zone-IV, Zone-V) and on three different soil types (Hard rock, Medium soil, Soft soil). Further, 1000 kl tank for conditions - tank full, tank empty are also considered in this study........

Abstract:
The development in the field of nanometer technology leads to minimize the power consumption of logic circuits. Reversible logic design has been one of the promising technologies gaining greater interest due to less dissipation of heat and low power consumption. In the digital design, the code converters are widely used process. So, the reversible logic gates and reversible circuits for realizing code converters like as Binary to Gray code, Gray to Binary code, BCD to Excess 3 code, Excess 3 to BCD codes using reversible logic gates is proposed......

Abstract:
The part of project work presented in this report deals with high speed inter-chip serial data transfer. Serializer used for parallel to serial conversion is of not only high speed but also power efficient. The utilization of CMOS based serializer as well as CML (current mode logic) based serializer at proper places helps in reducing the power requirement without compromising the adequate speed. Tree structure is adopted for the realization of higher order serializer(8:1)......

Abstract:
This paper aims at FPGA Implementation of an Area Optimized Architecture for 128 bit AES Algorithm. The conventional designs use a separate module for 32 bit byte substitution and 128 bit byte substitution. The 32 bit byte substitution is used in round key generation and the 128 bit byte substitution is used in the rounds. This report presents a modified architecture of 128 bit byte substitution module using a single 32 bit byte substitution module to reduce area.....

Abstract:
In Software Engineering, different techniques and approaches are being used nowadays to produce reliable software. The software quality relies heavily on the software testing. However, not all developers are concerned with the testing stage of a software. This has affected the software quality and has increased the cost as well. To avoid these issues, researchers paid a lot of effort on finding the best technique that guarantee the software quality. In this paper we aim to explore the effectiveness of building test cases using Test-Driven Development (TDD) technique compared with the conventional technique (Test-last)......

Abstract:
Vanadium doped zinc telluride (ZnTe:V) thin films (containing 2.5 to 10wt% V) were deposited onto glass
substrates by e-beam evaporation technique in vacuum at a pressure of 8×10-4 Pa. Thermoelectric power of these
films have been measured from room temperature up to 413 K with reference to pure copper material. The
deposition rate of the films was maintained at 2.05 nms-1. The composition and temperature dependence
thermopower and its related parameters have been studied in detail for a particular thickness of 150 nm......
