Abstract:
The concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere has increased rapidly due to human activities,
anthropogenic activities and economic growth, resulting in an increase of the atmospheric temperature and
causing global warming and climate change. Climate change represents the biggest sustainability challenge.
Greenhouse gases are emitted due to use of transport, land clearance activity, production and consumption of the
food, use of fuels, manufacturing of goods, buildings and services. Economic growth and urbanization have
resulted in activities contributing about 80% of the global GHG emissions and the carbon emitted requires
having vigil check. Carbon footprint is an easy tool for monitoring and quantifying carbon emission (GHG
emission), as well as checking mitigation programs at different scales. The present study shall focus on the
various aspects of carbon footprint like carbon footprint contributors, its effects, carbon assessment methods and
mitigation measures.

Abstract:
There are so many approach used to determine the electric and magnetic fields. To determine an
expression for the electric field and magnetic field in terms of current is used in this Lorentz condition approach.
In this approach, the expression of electric and magnetic fields are determined. There are two expressions for the
electric field and magnetic field in terms of current by using scalar and vector potentials. In the electric field,
there are three components of static field, induction field, and radiation field but in magnetic field there are only
two, induction and radiation fields..

Abstract:
In this paper, we have studied peristaltic flow of Jeffrey fluid and the effects of magnetic field and heat transfer
on the fluid flow in a non-uniform porous channel. The equations have been fabricated by employing the wave
frame and then reduced by assumption of long wavelength and low Reynolds number approximation. The
solutions have been solved for the velocity, temperature and pressure gradient by using Adomian decomposition
Method (ADM). The effects of physical parameters on the velocity, pressure gradient, pumping characteristics
and temperature are discussed in detail with the aid of graphs.

Abstract:
Ground water from fifteen stations of three zones (Chittoor, Edayakunnam and Cheranellur zones) in
Cheranellur Panchayath of Kochi, South India was collected during the premonsoon and post monsoon 2016 to
understand the quality of water for drinking purposes. It was found that the chloride content varied from 6.6 to
46.2 mg/l and electrical conductivity ranged between 0.04 and 1 microS/Co. Total hardness showes its
maximum abundance as 238 mg/L, meanwhile Calcium and Magnesium exhibited their higher abundance as
81.6 mg/L and 11.7 mg/L respectively. The total dissolved solids in study area showed its maximum
concentration at Chittoor zone (519 mg/L). The iron content maximum obtained recorded as 1.8 mg/L
(Edayakunnam zone). While comparing the three zones, Cheranellur zone showes all the parameters in very low
concentration. The study revealed that all the analytical parameters in the water samples does not overcome the
permissible limit prescribed for drinking purposes [1]. Besides.......

Abstract:
In recent years autonomous vehicle concepts has been evolving from "maybe possible‟ to "definitely possible‟.
These kinds of vehicles have two major tasks to accomplish that are, perceiving and processing the input data in
order to navigate vehicle. Autonomous vehicles have the potential to improve safety by eliminating human error
in driving. Research has been done to develop and implement path detection algorithms to detect and analyze
the drivable path ahead of the autonomous vehicle. Some vehicles might use only cameras, whereas others
might use a combination of cameras, LiDAR, GPS etc. One of the principal approaches is to detect road
boundaries and lanes by using vision-based system on the vehicle. However, one of most challenging tasks
regarding this approach......

Abstract:
The purpose of this work is to study the influence of the micro-abrasive wear modes on the behaviors of the
volume of wear (V) and on the coefficient of friction (μ) of thin films. Experiments were conducted with thin
films of TiN, TiAlN, TiN/TiAlN, TiHfC, ZrN and TiZrN, using a ball of AISI 52100 steel and abrasive slurries
prepared with black silicon carbide (SiC) particles and glycerine. The results show that the abrasive slurry concentration
affected the abrasive wear modes ("grooving abrasion" or "rolling abrasion") and, consequently, the
magnitude of the volume of wear and of the coefficient of friction, as described: i) a low value of abrasive slurry
concentration generated "grooving abrasion", which was relationed to a relatively low volume of wear and high
coefficient of friction; ii) a high value.....

Abstract:
Wastewater, treated or untreated, eventually ends up in rivers, streams, lakes, and oceans. We often assume that
groundwater is pure, but unfortunately, well water contaminated by sewage is a common cause of outbreaks of
wastewater related diseases. Almost 80% of water supply flows back into the ecosystem as wastewater without
any treatment. This can be a critical environmental and health hazard if not treated properly but its proper
management could help the water managers in meeting the city's water demand. Ensuring proper wastewater
treatment and disposal is as important for protecting community health as waste water treatment, and
immunization programs. Untreated wastewater can spread disease and contaminate drinking water sources.

Abstract:
Medium carbon steel fine particle is waste from steel fabricated informal industries in Ghana
and are readily available. In this paper, effect of medium carbon steel (Fe3O2) fine particles was studied.
Medium carbon steel with size less than 20 nm was added at different percentages 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5% and
6%) to concrete. The concrete were tested for mechanical and physical properties at different curing ages of 7,
14, 21, and 28 days. Water absorption of concrete were also studied. Experiments results indicated that the
flexural and compressive strength of hardened concrete increased with the addition of Fe2O3 fine particles at the
age of 7days and 28days, and the optimal content of Fe3O2 fine particles was 5%. It is clearly that the water
absorption for the modified concrete specimens was lower than the control concrete samples. The results of this
studies support the conclusion that medium......

Abstract:
The human eye structure is like that it can recognize the depth of an object in front of them. They combine two
images known as stereo images into a single image which helps to identify the depth of an object. From the
stereo images, we can find a disparity image used for 3D image reconstruction. The disparity image generation
is also possible through MATLAB and embedded platform, but there is one issue to generating disparity image
is a low frame rate. To overcome that issue FPGA having better features like high clock frequency, parallel
