Abstract:
Reinforced concrete structures often require strengthening to increase their capacity to sustain additional loads, due to change in use that resulted in additional live loads, deterioration of the load carrying elements, design errors, construction problems during erection, aging of structure itself or upgrading to confirm to current code requirements. These situations may require additional concrete elements or the entire concrete structure to be strengthened, repaired or retrofitted. Common methods for strengthening columns include concrete jacketing, fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) jacketing and steel jacketing. All these methods have been shown to effectively increase the axial load capacity of columns.........

Abstract:
The seed protein contents and protein banding pattern were studied in commonly cultivated groundnut cultivars. The groundnut cultivars such as ICGV00351, TMV-7, CO-4,CO-6 and TG-374 were used for quantitative and qualitative analysis of seed proteins. The protein contents varied among the different varieties of groundnut. The maximum protein content was observed in CO-6 followed by CO-4, TMV-7, ICGV00351 and TG-374. There was a slight differences in protein content among the different cultivars. All the five cultivars of groundnut were subjected to SDS-PAGE analysis. The results revealed that the variation in total number of bands and MW-Rf values. The maximum number of MW-Rf value was noticed in TG-374 and ICGV00351, and the minimum MW-Rf value was 11 recorded in CO-6 and TMV-7.

Abstract:
Networking in computers enables sharing of information by interconnecting the computing devices. The sharing
of information is possible through transmission media. The transmission media is classified as wired or wireless.
Wired media have limitation in geography. But wireless is not bounded by geography. In the wireless world the
first wireless technology was infrared and it was a very slow technology. So, inventions were continued to find a
better wireless technology, finally we got Bluetooth, Wi-Fi ,WI-MAX and Gi-Fi. In this paper we discussed
about different Wired and Wireless Technologies and given a proposed idea to extend the limit of Gi-Fi beyond
10 meters.

Abstract:
High-rise structures need much time for its time consuming and cumbersome calculations using conventional manual methods. STAAD-Pro provides us a fast, efficient, easy to use and accurate platform for analyzing and designing structures. The principle objective of this project is to analysis and design a multi-storied building G+19 (3 dimensional frame) using STAAD Pro software. The design involves analyzing the whole structure by STAAD Pro. The design methods used in STAAD-Pro analysis are Limit State Design conforming to Indian Standard Code of Practice. We conclude that STAAD-PRO is a very powerful tool which can save much time and is very accurate in designs. In this project, G+19 storied building is considered and applied various loads like wind laod, static laod ,earthquake load and results are studied and compared by manual calculations.

Abstract:
As known from very upsetting experiences, poorly designed elevated water tanks were heavily damaged or collapsed during earthquakes. This might be due to the lack of knowledge regarding the behaviour of supporting system of the tank, and also due to improper selection of geometry of staging patterns. For certain proportions of the tank and the structure, the sloshing of the water during earthquake may be one of the dominant factors.Dynamic analysis of tank containing liquid is complex involving fluid-structure interaction. In this paper, the seismic behavioural effect of circular elevated water tank is studied for specific capacity of tank for various staging arrangements in plan, variation in number of periphery columns and variation in number of stages in elevation............

Abstract:
Anonymity is essential in various online scenarios, such as a questionnaire system for lecture evaluation in a university. In such a scenario, only a person who attended the lecture concerned should be able to access the system and fill out the questionnaire. Further, anonymity is very important because only anonymous users will answer the questions honestly. Making users who participate from the beginning anonymous is relatively easy. In contrast, making users who participate in the middle anonymous is very difficult..........

Abstract:
Acidic and basic are two extremes that describe chemicals, just like hot and cold are two extremes that describe temperature. Mixing acids and bases can cancel out their extreme effects; much like mixing hot and cold water can even out the water temperature. A substance that is neither acidic nor basic is neutral. The ph of the water in betul block is increasing year by year and day by day. It was observed that there are 0.5% increase in the ph of water in betul block. The optimum pH will vary in different supplies according to the composition of the water and the nature of the construction materials used in the distribution system, but is often in the range 6.5–9.5. Extreme pH values can result from accidental spills, treatment breakdowns, and insufficiently cured cement mortar pipe linings. No health-based guideline value is proposed for pH.

Abstract:
The limited mechanical properties of Al and its alloys adversely affect its applications in automobile and
aerospace industries. This remains one of the major concern in the fabrication to suit its application in recent
days. The main aim of the present work is to improve the fracture toughness of the Al matrix composite . A
composite with Al 6061 alloy as matrix and Zirconium Oxide as reinforcement is fabricated by stir casting
process. The specimens were prepared according to ASTM standards and fracture toughness, tensile and
hardness tests were performed and the properties were investigated. Zirconium oxide is selected as a
reinforcement because of its ability to influence the microstructure of the Al 6061 alloy to improve the fracture
toughness. The fracture toughness is highest at 6% reinforcement of ZrO2 and hardness is found to be more at
4% reinforcement.

Abstract:
This article describes the CFD analysis of a Hyundai i20 car Model. The focus of this study is to investigate the aerodynamics characteristics of Hyundai i20 car model and the flow obtained by solving the steady-state governing continuity equations as well as the momentum conservation equations combined with one of four turbulence models (1.Spalart-Allmaras 2.k-ε Standard 3.Transition k-kl-ω 4.Transition Shear Stress Transport (SST)) and the solutions obtained using these different models were compared. Except transition k-kl-ω model, other three models show nearly similar velocity variations plot. Pressure variation plot are almost similar with K-ε and transition-SST models. Eddy viscosity plot are almost similar with K-ε and transition k-kl-ω models.

Abstract:
This study aims to detect the trend in seasonal rainfall of four rainy months i.e. June, July, August and September. To determine the trend of rainfall, non-parametric Mann-Kendall test and non-parametric Sen's Slope estimator for determination of magnitude of trend was used. Linear regression analysis, which is a useful parametric model used to developed functional relationships between variables was also applied to determine trend of rainfall for the study area. From all statistical test results it was indicated that there was some change in the trend of rainfall of the rainy months.
