Abstract:
This project work deals with study of various joints such as Bonded, Riveted & Hybrid used in aircraft body, made up of composite materials like Carbon fiber reinforcement polymer (CFRP), Glass fiber reinforcement polymer (GFRP), Sisal fiber and the combination of above three. Based on the outcome of the Stress, Strain and Deformation analysis using ANSYS 16.0 the opt composite material is to be selected for further study. Then a sample composite laminate is to be manufactured according to the ASTM standards. In addition, mechanical properties are to be analyzed for confirm whether it is matching with the design requirements. The objective of this project was to study the joints used in aircraft structure by introducing a natural fiber called Sisal. From the analysis and experimental study, the best suitable composite material for the aircraft structure is recommended as the combination of Glass fiber, Carbon fiber and Sisal..

Abstract:
Concrete is one of the most widely used construction materials for several structures such as
buildings, homes, dams, roads, and bridges. Concrete performance is generally based on the mix design,
material properties in the mixture, curing conditions, and environmental conditions during the service life of the
structure. Cracking and spalling of concrete are the most common damage caused by expansion of the cement
paste matrix under the effect of freeze-thaw cycles. The purpose of this paper is to explore the feasibility of use
of high strength concrete in cold weather environments and assess its durability in that environment both with
and without entrained air. The development and subsequent widespread use of high range water reducing
admixtures or superplasticizers has.........

Abstract:
The Flywheel Energy Storage System (FESS) is a new storage technology and has many
advantages over traditional energy storage methods. In this paper, we present an integrated solution of FESS
with solar power systems working in micro-grids to improve the quality of solar power supplied to the grid. The
results of modeling and simulation on Matlab - Simulink software have shown that the solar power system
integrated FESS can overcome the energy fluctuations of solar power to provide a less changing energy for the
grid.

Abstract:
Solar energy is becoming an alternative for the limited fossil fuel resources. One of the simplest and most direct
applications of this energy is conversion of solar radiation into heat, which can be used in water heating
systems. A commonly used solar collector is the flat-plate. A lot of research has been conducted in order to
analyze the flat-plate operation and improve its efficiency. Thermal energy storage has always been one of the
most critical components in residential solar water heating applications. However, the energy source and the
demands of a house (or building) in general, do not match each other especially in solar water heating
applications. So thermal energy storage is essential........

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to identify a new bacterial strain, isolated as industrial alcoholic fermentation
contaminant, and characterize chemically the EPS produced. The EPS yield was 44.5g/L in a molasses-sucrose
medium under static fermentation conditions. Results of HPLC indicated that the main EPS sugars were glucose
and galactose. FTIR and UV-vis spectroscopic analysis confirmed the presence of carboxyl and hydroxyl groups
and absence of both proteins and nucleic acids. The structural characterization of EPS (1H NMR and 13C NMR)
showed the form of α-glucopyranose rings linked by bonds, such as α-(1→6)-linked glucose, α-(1→2)-linked
galactose, α-(1→3)-linked glucose and terminal branch α-(galactose). The chemical structure of the EPS was
proposed on basis of these results. High.........

Abstract:
For the past decade The Electrical Power Generation sector is carrying out globally a huge Plan
to Adopt Widely the Renewable Energy Resources with its all types, And most of all the PV Solar Power, which
is prevailing rapidly in the World and mainly in the Middle east due to its versatility, affordability and relative
efficiency, locally Kuwait government has set up a strategically target by the year 2030 to utilize the Renewable
Energy by 15% of its total Power generation capacity, respectively a 70 MW pilot project has been launched
comprising a three types of renewable power: PV, Wind turbine generators and CSP in order to assess and
evaluate the performance and efficiency of each type before proceeding with gigantic plant ,Hence my aim of
this paper is to discuss the contribution of the existing WTG in supporting Kuwait's grid peak demand
